Carroll Simons Institute Facilitator Application

SELECTION NOTIFICATION will be made by May 30, 2017

The third Carroll Simons Institute (CSI) is August 10 - 13, 2017 and is held in Amelia, Ohio at the Woodland Lakes Retreat Center!

Brought to us in part due to a generous donation by the Alpha Epsilon (IIT) Educational Society, CSI will be an officer training retreat for our most motivated undergraduate members.   Whereas Men of Honor teaches our members “why” they are a Phi Kap, CSI will address “how” they can impact their Chapter and the Brotherhood as a whole.  A variety of skills will be taught by Brothers with professional expertise in tangible areas including marketing your Chapter, budgeting and understanding our risk management policy.  The program will also be a sounding board for future plans and ideas for the direction of the International Organization.  As Brothers learn from one another, teamwork will be emphasized through friendly competitions in an outdoor camp setting.

The various small group presentations are an integral part to the program to ensure current and future officers are able to advance their role in their chapter.

Please fill in your information below to apply for a Phi Kappa Sigma CSI Facilitator position.  Note that we are asking applicants to submit at least one 75 minute lesson plan that they wish to teach (with topics below).

Selected facilitators will be reimbursed for an agreed upon travel expense.

We sincerely appreciate your application but please know that these positions are very competitive.

The applications are reviewed once the deadline has been reached.
