2015-2016 Alumni Events!

Posted By Ron Stranix (Ursinus 2012), Director of Member Services, Monday, October 12, 2015

As Grand Sigma Dave Smith touched on in his last post, it is important to remember that being a member of Phi Kappa Sigma is a lifelong experience.  The current Alumni Relations Committee is committed to making this experience more visible to our Brothers.  One way we are working to accomplish this is through our regional alumni events.

Three events are scheduled for this fall taking place in the New England area, New York City, and the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Our New England event is rapidly approaching this coming weekend, and Brothers in the region should have received an email invite as well as seen some of the advertisement on our Phi Kap social media pages.  The gathering is taking place this Saturday, October 17th at the Coalition of Local Beer, Food and Music Festival at the Newburyport Brewing Company in Newburyport, MA.  We will have a Phi Kap tent set up for Brothers to meet and share stories, plus all Phi Kaps who attend will receive a fun souvenir from the event.  Check out the event at and don’t forget to RSVP at!

Our New York event will be taking place on October 24th at the Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge in Manhattan.  Appetizers will be provided as well as free bowling and shoes for the first twenty Brothers to RSVP.  These spots are filling up fast some make sure to visit to RSVP today.

Our final event for the fall will take place on Thursday, December 3rd in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Details are still being hashed out for this event so make sure to follow our social media pages and look out for an email invite in the coming weeks.

These three alumni events are just the start for the 2015-2016 academic year.  In the spring, we are looking to host events in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Richmond.  If you have any questions or are interested in helping to plan events in any of these cities, please send an email to  We look forward to hearing from you!
